The Haj Application Forms and Haj Guidelines are made available to the intending Pilgrims from Haj House / Haj Tower / District Minority Offices free of cost.

The Haj Application Forms with original International Passports are received through District Minority Offices & Haj House and scrutinized by the West Bengal State Haj Committee.

4) After duly scrutinizing, the Haj Application Forms, with original Int. Passports those are sent to Haj Committee of India for endorsing Haj VISA and for making allotment of accommodation at Makkah Mukarrama and Madinah Munawwarah, flight allotment for monitoring the movement of the pilgrims.

West Bengal State Haj Committee conducts orientation-cum-training at least twice for each intending Haj Pilgrims of West Bengal in different parts of the districts.

West Bengal State Haj Committee makes arrangement to inoculate the Haj Pilgrims at Sub-Divisional Hospitals with the help of Department of Health and Family Welfare, Govt. of West Bengal.

Free distribution of “Haj Guide Book” (with pictorials) in Bengali / Urdu / English to every Haj Pilgrims prior to departure for Saudi Arabia.

Free accommodation for Haj Pilgrims along-with their family members of the West Bengal, Odisha,Tripura, Jharkhand, Manipur and Assam are made at Madinatul Hujjaj, Newtown, Rajarhat and other convenient places of Kolkata.

Transportation of Pilgrims as well as luggages from Haj House, Haj Tower & Madinatul Hujjaj to Kolkata Airport.

Distribution of passports & other relevant documents prior to departure for Saudi Arabia.

City Check-in facility of Luggage and Pilgrims in Madinat-ul Hujjaj.

Reception and Valediction of Haj Pilgrims at Haj Terminal of Kolkata Airport.

Welcome of Pilgrims, sitting, rest, wearing of Ihram and arrangement for prayers inside/outside the Madinat-ul Hujjaj and also in Airport in co-operation with various Government Departments/ Agencies.

Dry fruit Packet is provided on behalf of the Hon’ble Chief Minister, West Bengal to every Haj Pilgrims of West Bengal, Odisha, Tripura, Jharkhand, Manipur & Assam prior to departure for Saudi Arabia.

35 Khaddamul Hujjaj are being sent to Saudi Arabia with the financial support of the Government of West Bengal to assist and guide the Haj pilgrims in Saudi Arabia.

Dedicated Zone wise Volunteers with demarcated numbered Jacket with token facility to be identified by Pilgrims.

Meeting chaired by the Chief Secretary, West Bengal are conducted prior to every Haj Operation and meeting through Video Conference with all the District Magistrates / Superintendents of Police / Commissioners of Police and others are also arranged.
